From it's humble beginings in the 1950's, the annual White Lane Hill Climb has become a local classic. Every year the crowds seem to encorage faster and faster times. One thing always remains the same, and that's the famous 'Cafe du Bec' tea stall, which is always stacked with cakes, sandwiches, teas, coffees etc etc to keep the hordes of hungry supporters (and riders) in fine fettle.

2010
Individual Winner - Germain Burton
Team - Corley Cycles/Cervelo/Alpha RC
2010 was a great year. The weather was near perfect with a cool but sunny day and the racing was fast. The 15yr old Germaine took the £1,000 for first prize and Team Corley Cycles walked off happy with the £900 team prize. 92 riders fought out the event.

2009
Individual Winner - Michael Smith (Team Milton Keynes)
Team - Artictic Premier RT
Michael Smith rode a 1:46.3 winning the big prize and beating second place Robert Gough by over 4 seconds.
In 2009 some big sponsors came forward to assist with another bumper prize list. As well as collecting the big cash prize on the day, Michael was formally presented with the coverted hill climb trophy by Brad Wiggins, himself a guest at the club luncheon.
