Season Opens with Box Hill TT 15th Mar
15th March 2009
The season started today with the first club time trial of the year. The weather was near perfect with glorious sunshine and a warm spring temperature of 10Degrees. By some miracle James HUGHES was both the overall and handicap winner, with Keith COFFEY coming in second.
Reports that COFFEY has been dipping out on his winter training this year are unfounded, although even his bike thought he was overweight, with his back wheel popping a spoke on the return ride home!

The GS/281 course starts at the back of Headley Common, and after a brief fast section turns immediatly up the Zig Zag climb to the summit of Box Hill. The middle section is heavily undulating, and the course finishes with another stiff climb back up to Headley Common.
