Plans for this weekends Bec CC Road race (National B E,1,2,3) are progressing well. For those that are not familiar with the format we use two circuits on the edge of Ashdown Forest (East Sussex); the Ladies Mile Circuit and the Crowborough Circuit. Both are hilly but the second circuit is by far the more challenging, and the 1.4 mile climb always splits the field apart. This together with the off course finish makes for a hard race.
This year rider numbers are getting closer to normal (currently 68 riders, with a max 80) although there's still plenty space for EOL.
This can be done either by entering at the HQ on the morning of the race (first come first served), or alternatively e-mail the organiser (jhughes244@gmail.com). While we're below the maximum field payment can still be taken this week so you can avoid a queue on Sunday morning
